Back-Ups

Our hosting comes with full data replication of files and databases every 4 hours (Hourly on Platinum), which are securely stored in our off-site datacentre. Our Replications and Backups are quick, non-disruptive, and should you need any files or databases restored we can do this for you in just a few minutes.

Using our private diverse backup network, changes to your critical data are automatically sent to our secure secondary datacentre location.

Should a disaster happen and you need to restore an entire server, off-site data replications or indeed backups are also fully consistent images which can be utilised to restore a point-in-time snapshot of your server.

With our Joomla websites, we also use Akeeba Backup to take a full copy of your files and database Monthly, Weekly or Daily. Again these are stored off-site and can be restored quickly if needed.

cPanel

cPanel make the world’s best control panel system for Linux servers. The system makes your life easier by putting powerful yet easy-to-use features at your fingertips, with essential tasks so quick and reliable that the day-to-day running of your account becomes simple enough to focus on more important things.

The system is renowned for its straightforward, intuitive interface, plus there are video tutorials within cPanel for on-screen help. And of course, we’re always here if you need us.

Data Centre

Centro features biometric security, proximity access control throughout, diverse utility power feeds, built-in n+1 redundancy: UPS secured power, climate control and generator backup including continuous operation and online fuel replenishment. Operating dual communications entry points, Centro has North and South fibre ducting into dedicated communication points at opposite ends of the building.

Dedicated mechanical and engineering corridors ensure that critical facility equipment is housed away from the data floor. VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) and FM200 fire suppression are standard throughout all suites and Centro operates 24x7 human security in addition to all the technology.

The power we use at Centro is supplied by E.ON and is 100% renewable sourced. Centro also holds ISO 14001 for Environmental Management System, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 accreditations for Information Security Management and Quality Management. 

All of our hosting is provided by UKDedicated, who operate under the AS number AS34282, and as the UKNOC RIPE Local Internet Registry, which means we administer our own direct allocation of internet address space and route our own network.

UK Hosting
